As we allow new kinds of technologies to observe, measure and improve our personal and intimate lives, where are the boundaries? My Companion (07:40 mins) is a recent video work by artist Amy Boulton that introduces some examples of “Data Intimacies” such as personalised recommendations, AI Companions, Fitness tracking and smart home automation.
Join us at Solidaria on December 14th @ 6:00 pm for a screening followed by an open conversation with the artist about technology and well-being. Guests are welcome to stay for the community night party starting at 9:00 pm with vegan edibles and refreshments at Solidaria. Boulton and Hedemyr’s recent chatbot work “Your Tough Love Friend” will also be available to have a short therapy session with.
